Doug knew these good friends and neighbors Emily (age 13) for her whole life, and Elinor for 20 years.

This beautiful song was written by John Lennon. I had heard it performed by Mary Chapin Carpenter, on her CD "Party Doll and Other Favorites."

It was our wedding song.
