Doug graduated from Penney High School in East Hartford CT in 1975. This is his high school yearbook photo. He looks so young.

In my opinion, Doug got better looking every day. When I met him in 1983, he was pretty scrawny. By 2010, he was a twisted mass of steel and sex appeal.

Doug told me he was quite shy in high school. He really blossomed when he went to college at Eastern.

He kept his wonderful friends from high school - Fred and Barb Robinson, Stu Harris and Ron Hiser. They went on an annual golfing outing, and celebrated their 50th birthdays together at a bash at our house in 2008.
