I wrote this on our wedding day. The dried bouquet was the last one he gathered for me - wildflowers (and weeds) from our yard. (See The End.) |
"Take comfort in your beautiful surroundings....the one place that is so very Bet and Doug. One thing that has forever made me smile is your chalkboard in the kitchen. Before you the house was just a house (albeit a wonderful old house), Bet, but after you it became a true home. You were Doug's everything."
